Yes, you can. If the restaurant does not have the service included in the bill, you will have the option to place a tip through the Gimme Food app. You will receive a confirmation of your tip on your e-mail. Gimme food does not take charge on tips.

On the meal screen, below the name of the meal, you have the option to choose the quantity of the meal. You then click on the green button that says ADD TO ORDER. A shopping cart icon should now appear in the upper right corner of the meal screen. When you click on it, you can see the cart screen. You can choose to check-out or continue shopping.

After, you will receive a sound and visual notification on the status of your orders. Restaurants have the option of sending you an alternative offer, if your requirements are not available. If you want to receive notifications, you must turn on notifications in your phone settings.

We will then send you an e-mail with detailed information about your paid order. You can view your order history under My Orders in  the shopping cart on the main screen.

To add a payment card you need to verify the email we sent you when you signed up. When you have verified your account, you can add a payment card to your profile in the payment methods option. You will have the option to add a card when you checkout on your first order.

We accept most bank credit and debit cards.

If you want to change your payment card, you can do that under your profile in the payment methods option.

 

You can choose your diet preference when you are setting up your profile. 

When you register you will have the option to choose the food categories based on your diet. Food categories are selective diets found in our application. Selective diets are the most common means of treatment for food allergies and other types of food sensitivities, eating disorders and health issues.

Filters also give you the opportunity to sort offers based on your diet and other criteria.

The filters you choose and your food restrictions will be reflected in the Map screen and Food tab as well as Restaurant tab.

The Restaurant tab shows you all the restaurants in your defined radius based on your diet categories chosen and sorted upon the filters used. 

Whereas the Food tab shows you all the meals in your defined radius based on your diet categories chosen and sorted upon the filters used.

If no restaurants or meals show up, you can try to:

  • change your location on map

  • change the search radius in the profile

  • change diet category in the profile

  • change your filters.

Make sure you are already signed up to Gimme Food. If not, enter your e-mail and choose a password.

If you have already signed up, you should be able to sign in by entering your e-mail as a username and your password.

In case you forgot your password, click on Forgot Password that is located above the Sign In button. On the next page, enter your email address and click on Send. An email is sent with a link to reset your password. In the email, you are directed to a page where you can create a new password. Enter a new password, confirm the new password, and then log into your account.
