Q: Does Gimme Food take charge on tips? (Tips)

No.

Q: Will you receive a confirmation on the tip given via Gimme Food app? (Tips)

Yes you will get an email from us with detailed info about your paid tip.

Q: Can you tip a waiter? (Tips)

Yes you can. If the restaurant does not have service included you will be asked by Gimme Food app to tip. Here you can choose to tip 18%, 20% or 22%, or you can opt out by clicking on the option I already gave cash.

Q: Will you receive an order confirmation? (Ordering process and Orders history)

Yes you will get an email from us with detailed info about your paid order.

Q: How can you view your order history? (Ordering process and Orders history)

On the main screen, click on the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner and go to My Orders.

Q: How do you know if your order has been accepted or rejected? (Ordering process and Orders history)

In both cases you will receive sound and visual notification of the status of your order.
Restaurants have the option of sending you an alternative offer that is different from your original one, to which you choose to answer.
If you want to receive a notification, notifications must be turned on in the settings on your phone and the sound must be switched on.

Q: When is your credit card charged? (Ordering process and Orders history)

Your credit card is charged as soon as restaurant confirms order that you created.

Q: What kind of delivery type do we offer? (Ordering process and Orders history)

You can reserve a table and order a meal before you arrive at the restaurant or you can choose to pick up your preferred meal.

Q: How to add a meal to a cart? (Ordering process and Orders history)

On the meal screen , below the name of the meal you have the option to choose the quantity and then you click on the green button ADD TO ORDER.
A shopping cart icon should now appear in the upper right corner of the meal screen and when you click on it you can enter the cart screen. Now you can checkout or you can continue shopping.

Q: How do you change your payment card? (Payment)

You can change your payment card in your profile in application in the payment methods option.

Q: What payment methods are accepted? (Payment)

All major bank credit and debit cards are accepted.

Q: How do you add a payment method? (Payment)

To add a payment card you need to verify the email we sent you when you signed up.
When you have verified your account, you can add a payment card to your profile in the payment methods option.
Another option to add a payment card is when you add something to the cart, on the checkout in cart you will have the option to add a card.

Q: What can you see on the menu screen? (Menu)

Menu shows you all the meals based on your selected diet categories and sorted upon the filters used.
If you do not have the diet or filter chosen, they will show you all the meals that the restaurant has on the menu.
If the ignore diet preference button is on (in profile), all meals in the restaurant menu will be displayed.

Q: What can you see on the meal screen? (Meal screen)

On the meal screen you can see the name and picture of the meal.
You can see a description of the meal and the categories that it belongs to.
You can see ratings and reviews of the meal and you can rate the meal yourself.
You can add meals to order and choose the number of meals.
You can open the restaurant menu.

Q: What can you see on the restaurant screen? (Restaurant screen)

On the restaurant screen you can see the name of the restaurant, restaurant address and the ambient picture of the restaurant.
You can see restaurant working hours and description of the restaurant.
You can see ratings and reviews of the restaurant and you can rate the restaurant yourself.
You can open the restaurant menu.

Q: What can you do in profile? (Profile)

In the profile you can:
– edit personal information such as first and last name, date of birth and gender.
– choose the type of diet you are using and if you do not want to use the diet you also have the ignore diet preference option which excludes all selected diets.
– change the radius that searches for restaurants and meals from your location.
– choose preferred payment methods.
– reset password.
– contact customer support in case of any help needed.

Q. How do the Filters work? (Filters)

Filters give you the opportunity to sort offers upon many different criteria.
You can choose to sort or you can choose from available filters.
The filters you choose will be reflected in the Map screen and Food tab as well as Restaurant tab.

Q: There are no restaurants in the Restaurant tab? (Restaurant tab)

You can try to:
-change your location on map or
-change the search radius in the profile or
-change diet category in the profile or
-change the type of filters.

Q: What is the Restaurant tab for? (Restaurant tab)

The Restaurant tab shows you all the restaurants in your defined radius based on your diet categories chosen and sorted upon the filters used.

Q: There are no meals in the Food tab? (Food tab)

You can try to:
-change your location on map or
-change the search radius in the profile or
-change diet category in the profile or
-change the type of filters.

The Food tab shows you all the meals in your defined radius based on your diet categories chosen and sorted upon the filters used.

Q: There are no restaurants on the Map? (Map screen)

You can try to:
-change your location on map or
-change the search radius in the profile or
-change diet category in the profile or
-change the type of filters.

Q: What can you see on the map? (Map screen)

The map shows the restaurants. Restaurants that are our clients are marked with green color while yellow color represents those restaurants who are not yet our clients.
In restaurants marked by green color you can order your preferred food.
You can also search any city in the world to find if there are restaurants in our network at that specific place. We add more restaurants to our network on a daily basis and it is only a matter of time when you will see some new ones in the area that they haven’t been present before.

Q: What are the food categories? (Select food categories)

When you register you will have the option to choose the food categories based on your diet.
Food categories are selective diets found in our application.
Selective diets are the most common means of treatment for food allergies and other types of food sensitivities, eating disorders and health issues.

Q: You forgot your password. What should you do? (Sign In)

Click on Forgot Password that is located above the Sign In button. On the next page, enter your email address and click on Send.
An email is sent with a link to reset your password. In email once you click on the button reset password or link, you are directed to a page where you can create a new password.
Enter a new password, confirm the new password, and then log into your account.

Q:How do you sign in? (Sign In)

To sign in to your Gimme Food account enter your username(email) and enter your password.

Q: Is sign up free? (Sign Up)

Yes, sign up is free and always will be.
On the sign up screen you need to enter your email and choose a password.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length.
